DARTS: The Butcher Boys look the team to beat in the Astwood Bank Darts League at the moment following their 9-0 drubbing of Book B, A Whadcoat's maximum helping them to an emphatic victory in Division One. A 180 from V Cozens could not prevent Book's whitewash.
Ray Bishop and K Richards were among the 180s as Queens A won 6-3 at Lodge Park while C Edwards hit a 180 for Book A in their 5-4 victory over the Lygon.
The only maximum in Division Two came from P Bassett for the Trades in their 6-3 win at Abbeydale.
Other results were: Division One - Mount Pleasant 6, Bell 3. Division Two - Centrepoint 5, Seven Stars 4; Queens b 2, Gate 7; Coach House 5, Red Lion 4.
The previous week saw the Queens A power to a 7-2 victory over Book A in Division One with Ray Bishop and Mark Bayliss hitting maximums for the home side.
Andy Wilson hit a 180 for Book B but failed to lift his team as they were beaten at home 5-4 by Mount Pleasant.
