A WOMAN whose bag containing expensive jewellery was stolen while she was shopping at a Kidderminster supermarket has put up a reward for the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
The bag contained an 18ct gold ring with a pink sapphire surrounded by diamonds; a diamond solitaire ring; silver and mother of pearl necklace and bracelet; and a silver bracelet with blue-mauve crystal stones.
Glasses, a pink mobile phone and a purse with a picture of a nun inside were also taken between 3pm and 4pm on Wednesday, April 27 at Tesco.
It is believed the theft occurred when a young woman - described as white, aged 18 to 25, slim, with blonde hair and a tattoo on her shoulder - leaned over the victim as she was buying onions.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Kidderminster police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
