NEW foster carers are being sought in Wyre Forest as part of a countywide initiative.
The scheme is being run in conjunction with the national Fostering Fortnight campaign, which began on Monday and runs until May 22 to highlight the need for more volunteers.
Carers who would consider fostering older children, teenagers and brothers and sisters together are especially needed.
Sara Castro, Worcestershire County Council's fostering team manager said: "Foster carers play a vital role in their local areas caring for children in times of crisis and they make a real, everyday difference to children's lives."
