AN electrical fault in a sun-bed led to Malvern's Splash leisure pool being evacuated.
Chris Barley, the centre's manager, said sensors detected the fault and set off the alarm, although there was no actual fire.
"There was someone using the sun-bed. They came straight out. No one was injured," he said.
He said the sun-bed would be kept out of order until checked and repaired.
One crew from Malvern Fire Station was called out to the centre off Priory Road at around 10am. They left the scene at about 10.30am after checking everything was safe.
