VISITORS to Hanbury Hall, near Droitwich, can gain an insight into the world of bats with a guided walk and talk on Wednesday, May 18, at 7.45pm.
Expert Rebecca Collins offer a rare opportunity to see the house and some of its resident mammals out of hours.
The evening will start with refreshments in the main hall, where there will be a display featuring bat-related exhibits. It will be followed by a talk in the drawing room, with a particular focus on the bats that make Hanbury their home.
Hanbury has a thriving bat population and is home to pipistrelle, long- eared, Daubentons and noctule bats.
Places are limited on the walk and pre-booking is recommended. Tickets cost £8. Visitors need to take a torch. Call 01527 821214 for more details.
