A REPORT is being complied into what caused an oak tree on Hanley Swan village green to shed a large branch.
An expert will look into last Saturday's incident on behalf of the parish council. Clerk Ann Canham said the tree was more than 100 years old but did not appear to be diseased.
The branch has been removed and two councillors were due to clear the remaining debris.
