I SHOULD like to thank the NHS for the treatment received a couple of weekends ago.
I was taken ill on Saturday night and the doctor said - hospital. Having heard anecdotal stories of Worcester A & E, I was rather worried. However, an ambulance arrived within 15 minutes and, having assessed and reassured me, they took me to A & E.
The reception and treatment was first- class from the doctors, nurses, radiographer and porters. Eventually, I went to the medical treatment unit and stayed for two days, while I was sorted out. My thanks to all the staff for their dealings with an, at times, worried individual.
