EASTNOR trainer Nicky Sheppard had two winners during Sunday's Wheatland meeting at Chaddesley Corbett.

Lost in the Snow was successful in division two of the maiden, while Fanion De Neulliac took division two of the Conditions race.

Lost in the Snow benefited from a brilliant tactical ride by Julian Pritchard and this allowed the Ledbury jockey to record his 350th winner between the flags. Pritchard had his mount at the back of the field till halfway and they were closing on the leaders when they made a serious error at the 16th.

This is normally a vital stage of the race but Pritchard soon had his mount back on an even keel and they set off in pursuit of their rivals. They were still five lengths in arrears at the penultimate but Pritchard set his mount alight between the final two fences and they began to make serious inroads into the leaders advantage.

All three horses flew the last but Pritchard was in no mood to accept defeat and forced his mount up in the final strides.
