"THE large and commodious premises recently erected in the Worcester Road, Malvern Link, as a motor garage by Messrs Morgan and Co will be opened on Saturday, May 20," announced the Gazette 100 years ago.

The garage was described as "one of the largest and best equipped in the West of England", with room for 40 cars.

"All kinds of repairs are executed by competent workmen, and mechanics are sent to all parts on receipt of wire.

"There is an inspection pit fitted with electric light, and petrol for the recharging of accumulators is provided, while Dunlop and Continental tyres are stocked.

"Messrs Morgan and Co are the sole agents for Darracq, Wolseley and Siddeley cars, and have several new cars ready for immediate delivery, as well as several second-hand ones."

The paper also noted that Morgan was preparing to run its first "public service car" a 22hp Daimler, on a route from the Link to the Wells, via Worcester Road, Belle Vue Terrace and Wells Road.
