NOW the VE day celebrations are over, perhaps it is time for some to reflect on how they voted in the General Election.
Remembering those who gave so much and those who gave their all is commendable, but why they did it is equally important.
Wasn't it for freedom, independence and democracy for those who survived and for their children's children.
Should we now remember how many let them down by condoning our acceptance of a European Union in supporting Labour, Conservative or Liberal Democrats.
