CHRISTIANITY is about punishment for wrong-doing. It is also about repentance and forgiveness. Christianity can and often does, change men and women's, boy's and girl's hearts and lives.
Readers of this newspaper, especially us "wrinklies", can remember a very different society to the one we endure today; when society's leaders not only preached, but practised: "a fundamental principle of leadership is personal example."
Recent events, particularly the "cabinet re-shuffle", would suggest that "the old order changeth".
Yet decent folk are heartily sick of farmyard morals!
Political parties at present in opposition, might usefully ponder on this fact, not least when choosing a future leader!
