WAGGING tails are set to greet shoppers at a garden centre.
Ex-racing greyhounds will be using all their doggy-charm to persuade shoppers at Webbs of Wychbold that they make the perfect pet.
The dogs will be taking part in a Greyhound Awareness Roadshow being staged by the Perry Barr Greyhound Trust to show people that the ex-racing dogs are loving and affectionate and make ideal family pets.
So far this year the Birmingham-based Trust has already re-homed 73 retired racing greyhounds and hopes Worcestershire residents will also take the dogs to their hearts.
Organiser Pam Dewar said Greyhounds are the most loveable creatures.
"Visitors to Webbs will find most of the dogs lounging on their beds and very happy to greet people," she said.
"We hope our roadshow might inspire locals to consider taking a greyhound on as a pet."
Visitors to Webbs will have the chance to meet greyhounds and talk to people who already own them between the hours of 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
