TRAVELLERS ordered off land they owned in Eckington have been moved on yet again.
The group is believed to have moved on to private land off the A44 at Hampton, near Evesham, at the weekend after being ordered off land near Bredon, near Tewkesbury. Previously they have set up camp in Beckford, where they moved to after Wychavon District Council took legal action to get them moved from the car park at its Pershore offices.
The group were initially moved fromtheir own land in Eckington after they installed wooden fencing and hardcore roads without permission.
The Bishop of Worcester the Rt Rev Peter Selby previously called for the council to show understanding for the plight of the group.
