TALKING of voting (We Say, Thursday, April 28) when I was in Powick Hospital in the 1960s, we inmates weren't allowed a vote.
The authorities assumed we didn't know what we were doing.
This stigma still sticks to me today, to a certain extent.
There's an old saying "give a dog a bad name".
