Youngsters from Northwick Manor Infants School spent a week clowning around as part of their lessons.

They picked up tips from experts on skills such as juggling, tight-rope walking and unicycle riding.

Seven-year-old Hollie Lunn even learnt how to walk on stilts, something the Pershore-based Shooting Stars Circus Skills group said they see in only a third of schools.

Headteacher Sue Curphey said: "These co-ordination skills are fundamental to all sorts of learning."
