MILES Illingworth was the all-round star as Royal Grammar School Worcester maintained winning ways.

The son of Worcestershire legend Richard led the batting with a composed 69 and took 3-21 with the ball against Warwick.

After a nine-wicket win over Old Swinford, RGS recorded an almost identical win against Warwick as they had done against KES, Birmingham.

The Worcester side totalled 274-6 with Liam O'Driscoll backing up Illingworth with 45 runs but then Warwick started well in reply as the RGS seam attack struggled.

But as soon as the spinners were unleashed, batting suddenly became difficult and Warwick eventually succumbed for 148 all out.

Illingworth claimed his three wickets and Andrew Ford chipped in with 3-23, both off 12 overs.

With both the seconds and thirds winning along with an exciting tie for the under 13s, the overall results against Warwick were five wins, five losses and a tie.
