Barnt Green win by eight wickets
GREEN bounced back from defeat against Old Hill last week by trouncing Moseley Ashfield on Saturday in the Birmingham and District League second XI Premier Division.
Miraj Ahmed was in excellent form with the ball - taking 4-16 in 12 overs.
Gary Crowley also waded in with a healthy wicket count, ending on 4-45 in 18 overs, as Green's Birmingham opponents were bowled out for 130.
James Samworth then provided the backbone of Green's reply by hitting 81 not out, as Green cruised to 139-2 in 30 overs.
The seconds take on Knowle and Dorridge at Cherry Hill Road on Saturday (1.30pm start).
