I AM writing to agree with Jennie McGregor-Smith's letter praising the
Artrix (Advertiser, May 4).
I have just enjoyed an excellent performance on Friday as part of Bromsgrove Festival. It was given by the guitarist John Williams and the versatile musician Richard Harvey, who played seventeen instruments on that occasion, both wind and string!
A remarkable performance and, as Jennie says, the acoustics are superb.
The facilities inside the rather forbidding exterior of Artrix are good - only to be improved with some more chairs in the foyer, we hope, for disabled and elderly people to enjoy their drinks during the interval. May the Artrix go from strength to strength.
