Evesham and District AC & Partnership's

EIGHTEEN members met up at Manor Farm's Middle Pool last weekend to contest another round of the Bradford and Bingley Spring League.

Michael Leeming and Dirk Williams were fishing for the club for the first time and the latter produced an excellent start with a second place finish behind Ron Williams.

Weights: 1 R Williams 19.1.0; 2 D Williams 17.12.0; 3 Steve Hilton 17.2.0; 4 R Thomson 16.8.0.

The next match is at Cranhill when the draw takes place at 8am. Fishing is also taking place on Thursday evenings during the summer.

Evesham Jubilee Society

GARY Seadon was the winner of the Centenary Trophy when edging out Tim Hunt for top spot.

The next open match is at the Fishery on Saturday with a later draw time of 10am ahead of fishing for five hours. Book in on 01386 41273.

Tuesday Evening Opens continue every week when the draw is at 5.30pm.

It's the society's annual presentation evening tomorrow night at Hampton WMC starting at 7.45pm.

A WORKING party is planned for Sunday morning and all members are requested to arrive at the venue for a 9am start.

Subscriptions are now due and can be paid at tomorrow night's meeting at the working men's club.
