A SELECTION of Upton residents' photographs from the Second World War will be on display in the town's library next month to commemorate the 60th anniversary of victory in Europe and Japan.
The June exhibition has been organised by Betty Williams, chairman of the Upton branch of the Royal British Legion, using photographs lent by local people.
The library is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1.30pm to 5pm and Monday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm.
On Sunday, July 3, at 11am, a Service of Celebration will be held in Upton Parish Church, to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the war.
