A POLICE officer was injured when a car was driven at him in Bewdley.
Witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 5.30pm on Saturday, April 16, are being sought by West Mercia Constabulary.
The uniformed officer was treated in hospital for minor injuries after the black Renault Clio driven at him left the Texaco service station, in Kidderminster Road, towards Kidderminster.
Police are particularly keen to speak to two men who went to the assistance of the officer while he was on the ground.
Det Con Kim Carpenter, of Kidderminster police, said: "The garage was quite busy at the time and a number of witnesses have been spoken to.
"However, police are appealing for further witnesses to come forward who may not have remained prior to police attendance."
Witnesses can contact police on 08457 444888.
