A DISTINCTIVELY coloured canoe was stolen from a Kidderminster garden.

The Piranha canoe, worth £250, was taken from the garden, in Sutton Road, between 6pm on Saturday and 6.35pm on Monday.

The 8ft 6in craft was bright yellow, with a black seat, black carry handles and a British Canoe Union sticker on the back of the hull.

A police spokesman said: "This canoe is a very distinctive bright sunshine yellow colour and it may be that someone noticed it being moved from under black sheeting in the garden over the weekend."
