Chris Marriott, WI adviser and new county chairman, attended the May meeting when the two resolutions for the annual meeting in the Royal Albert Hall were discussed.
Mrs Marriott reminded members that in 1954 the resolution to Keep Britain Tidy was passed, and the group is still helping keep Habberley Valley clean. The latest "litter pick" will be on Wednesday, at 2.30pm.
Arrangements for entries to the May rally are in hand.
An outing to the market at Moreton-in-Marsh, in October, was proposed.
Names are required for the June 2 meeting, when there will be a talk and supper at Barnett Hill Nurseries.
Names of those wishing to attend, choice of meal, and fee, should be forwarded to Sue Stone.
Doreen Stanley and Pat Downton won the competitions.
