STAFF at a newly refurbished charity shop in Bewdley are asking for volunteers to help run it.
The Sue Ryder Care shop, located on Load Street, celebrated opening its doors to the public again on Wednesday last week with entertainment provided by Black Country singers, Cum Sing Wi We.
The shop, which has been in Bewdley for seven years, relies on people giving up their time to help with jobs like "collecting and sorting donations to displaying and selling stock, said Wendy Myers, who manages it with Lilian Griffiths.
Mrs Myers appealed for support, saying: "We would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering, whether they can spare a couple of hours once a month or a full day once a week. "
Funds raised from the shop help support 18 centres around the country, which provide specialist palliative and neurological care services for people with a wide range of conditions.
For further information about volunteering, call the shop on 01299 405590.
