MALVERN Town Wanderers entertained Littleton Juniors in their final fixture of the season in the Mercian Festival Junior League and had to work hard against a very defensive team.
MALVERN TOWN WANDERERS U15s 2, LITTLETON JUNIORS U15s 0
The first-half gave Wanderers a number of chances to score but, despite hitting both uprights, they were unable to take the lead against a battling team.
The second-half saw Wanderers digging in and it was not until the final two minutes that the deadlock was broken when Ryan Mansbridge crossed the ball for Paul Jordan to score.
Minutes later Joe Blain added a second and Wanderers finished their last match in jade and black, before becoming Malvern Town U16s, with a victory.
