BROMYARD U13 girls team ended a disappointing season a well-deserved victory away against Worcester City in the Mercian League.
WORCESTER CITY U13S 0, BROMYARD TOWN GIRLS U13S 4
Bromyard went straight onto the attack and came close on a couple of occasions before they took the lead with a goal from captain Clare Almond following a neat build-up.
Worcester though looked dangerous on the break and only some timely interceptions from defenders Rissa Probert and the ever-consistent Charlie Lloyd prevented City from drawing level.
Midway through the half, Bromyard reinforced their lead when midfielder Tasha Merris coolly slotted past the City goalkeeper.
The score remained unchanged until half-time thanks mainly to some excellent keeping from Bromyard's rapidly improving keeper Sarah Holman.
The second-half generally followed the pattern with City always a threat on the break and Town looking the more dangerous with striker Cassey Lewis in particular causing the Worcester defence problems.
Bromyard then extended their lead when Grace Rogers continued her recent improvement to beat the keeper on the near post.
Bromyard's midfielder Justine Tomkins had a goal-bound effort cleared before victory was finally sealed when Almond notched her second of the game and Town's fourth.
