BOSBURY School's fundraising race night will now take place on Saturday, July 9, and not Saturday, June 4, as originally planned. The venue is the village hall, racing starts at 7.30pm, licensed bar. £1 entry. This will be an action-packed evening, with eight races, an ideal opportunity to support the school.

The WI holds a day-time meeting on Thursday, June 9, with a visit to the gardens at Stocktonbury, near Leominster. Members will meet at Stocktonbury at 12.30pm. For more details, ring Rosemary Bayles on (01531) 640895.

Music at Bosbury - the next concert in this series is on Saturday, June 11, at 7.30pm. The Ledbury Community Choir has been singing together for six years. Under their present conductor, Malcolm Hughes, they have performed for local charities and sung at civic events. They will be joined by Tarrington Brass, well-known for their outstanding musical performances, and by children from Bosbury School, who delighted audiences earlier this year. The concert is in aid of St Michael's Hospice, tickets are £5, refreshments available.

On Sunday, there will be a service at Bosbury at 11am.

This month's village coffee morning is on Saturday, June 18, at 10.30am at the parish hall.
