MALVERN's new Caff Nero experienced a caffeine rush in its first week of business.
Temporary manager Sue Hopper said customers had been pouring through the doors of the Church Street business since it opened on Tuesday.
"It's been better than we could have expected," she said. "We open until 6pm and there are people in here right until closing time."
A minor setback occurred yesterday (Thursday), when staff arrived to find the door locks jammed.
"We don't know whether they broke or whether someone did something to them," said Ms Hopper.
"I was here at 6.30am and couldn't get in.
"Our locksmith said he'd come back and take a closer look at them, but apart from that, it's been great."
