DON'T forget the beautiful natural gardens are open on Sunday afternoon and it promises to be a lovely weekend. So come and park, pay and wander around in a corner of England that is still peaceful and beautiful.
Our parish church will be open, step inside and savour the beauty and simplicity of our beautiful parish church, which is next to Birtmorton Court and gardens.
The garden room will be open and we await your orders for a typical English afternoon tea, with fresh scones and strawberries (local) and cream and freshly baked, home-made cakes. A wide range of plants will also be on sale. Gates open at 2pm and close at 6pm.
All donations of cakes will be most welcome, plus volunteers to join our happy band of helpers. Call (01684) 833287 or just turn up with an apron.
The gardens of the court are open under the National Gardens Scheme but it is in the capable and knowledgeable hands of Rosalie Dawes and her team that we have to thank for the beautifully tended beds and borders and the inspiration over the years that allows us to benefit from all of her hard work.
