IN reply to Alex Smart (Your Letters, June 3), he did a survey on the hills and put down "Vandalism 0, Dog mess 18". Maybe he should walk down the road where he lives in Avenue Road?
I quote from your excellent paper: "Trees on Avenue Road, Malvern, were broken and uprooted by vandals". Is he walking around Malvern with blinkers on?
Also, what about the tree in Priory Park, near to where he lives, which was set on fire by vandals, or the arsonists who set fire to the building at North Site, or the graffiti and litter at Malvern Retail Park, and what about the cruelty with the frogs and hedgehogs, which we read in the paper recently.
He should take off his blinkers because I make that Vandalism 3, Cruelty 2, and I give up with litter, that is in double figures. If people are asking for a ban on dogs on the hills, maybe dog owners should ask for a ban or curfew on people walking outside their house after dark, which might stop the vandalism?
