THE West Midlands point-to-point season comes to a close tomorrow when the Harkaway Club hold their re-arranged fixture at the Chaddesley Corbett course.
Six races are planned with a 2pm start and the Men's Open is looking competitive after attracting 24 entries.
The expected favourite is Cannon Bridge who looks to extend his unbeaten run with possible opposition coming from Saint Reverien, Le Cure and last year's Lady Dudley Cup winner Caught at Dawn. The in-form Magicien will be looking for her third recent victory in the Ladies' Open race but she could find strong opposition from the improving Young Whack and Little Brown Bear.
The final race of the season, the Maiden race, has attracted 29 entries and this could fall to the consistent Ashley Marsh or Jovian Pond.
