TRAVEL Factory Midland Alliance club Malvern Town have teamed up with neighbours Worcester City to boost club funds.
Monies raised through City's long-running SuperGold lottery, which provides much-needed revenue for the Nationwide North side, will now be shared with Malvern.
City chairman Dave Boddy said: "This is a link between two local clubs who are getting together to help one another. Any money that is raised in Malvern by the SuperGold will be split 50-50 between the clubs."
Town chairman Paul Pallett said: "I'm very pleased that one of the larger clubs in the area has linked up with one of the smaller ones to benefit us both. We have already set up various routes for collectors and with all the administration in place, I'm sure we shall soon start seeing the benefit."
The weekly City lottery, which has run since the 50s, is based on door-to-door collections.
