WORCESTER Nomads 2nd XI played at Belbroughton and in the end were denied victory by T Oliver and lost by one wicket.
Nomads batted first and were in- debted to Chris Bland (58) and Matt Humphries (26) as J Raybould (3-54) and S Bateman (4-45) restricted them to 153.
Belbroughton set after the target and were cruising at 100-0, but Paul Ranscombe (4-29), with another fine display of swing bowling, stemmed the flow and Belbrough-ton lost nine wickets for 40 runs chasing victory.
T Oliver (92no) was ably supported by P Boardman and T Raybould. With 10 runs required off the last over, victory was achieved with two balls to spare and one wicket left.
