A 62-year-old woman was attacked by armed robbers as she watched hippos at West Midland Safari Park.
The incident happened at 3.15pm on Friday, June 3, when the woman was standing in the hippo viewing area at the park in Spring Grove, Bewdley, when she felt a blow on the back of her head.
As she fell forward, a navy blue shopping bag containing cash, bank cards, keys and various items of medication was snatched from her shoulder.
And at 3.30pm that day, a man had a Panasonic camcorder NVVS11 worth £600, a Fuji Fine Pix digital camera worth £500 and a small Samsung camera worth £150 stolen while he was in the reptile enclosure at the park.
Detective Constable Kim Carpenter said: "It is very unusual to have incidents of this nature reported at the safari park and we are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.
"The victim of the robbery, although uninjured, was still very shaken by her experience and it is concerning that someone enjoying a family day out should have this happen to them."
"While we are treating this as an isolated incident, we want people to be vigilant themselves when visiting parks, zoos and museums, keeping their bags closed and close to them at all time," she added.
Anyone with information can call police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
