LEDBURY darts player Terry Jenkins begins his quest for the Budweiser UK Open today.
Jenkins, winner of the Antwerp Open in April, has received a bye to the fourth round of the event, known as the FA Cup of darts, as a seeded player and is scheduled to face Dave Askew.
Jenkins cemented his place in the top 16 of the world rankings by winning the Datadart Antwerp Open in Belgium after beating Dutchman Mikel Maastrigt 3-0.
He beat fellow countryman Mark Thomson in the last four, Jelle Klassen in the quarter-finals and local favourite Geert Devos in the last 16.
Reigning world champion Phil Taylor faces a tough clash with the talented Ronnie Baxter, while Andy Jenkins takes on veteran Bob Anderson.
