I AM wondering whether any Worcester News readers could help me identify this picture.

It is of a Malvern Fire Service Funeral, date unknown. Malvern Fire Co. can be seen on the side of the vehicle.

By zooming in on the picture it appears that the registration number of the vehicle is B2637. There is a sign on the house, on the left of the picture, which I zoomed into but was unable to read it clearly.

This picture belonged to my late grandfather and our family believes it was in his late aunt's possessions. She had lived in a little cottage by the side of the canal at Blackpole which no longer exists.

Her name was Jane Forrester. She was born in 1873 and married a Dan Owen. She died in 1940. We believe that Dan may have been a fireman, or maybe their son, George.

The family would be very grateful if there is anyone out there who could perhaps shed some light on this interesting old photograph.
