DEDICATED fund-raisers have put on their walking boots to trek from dawn until dusk to raise funds for St Richard's Hospice.
More than 100 walkers took part in Friday's event, meeting at 5am to begin their 31-mile journey from Bewdley to the Malvern Hills.
Hospice fund-raising manager Tricia Cavell said: "It was absolutely fantastic. It was really hard but such fun and the atmosphere was amazing."
It is thought that the sponsored challenge, organised by the hospice has raised about £30,000 to help complete a new state of the art £5.25m hospice near County Hall, Worcester.
St Richard's cares for adults with life-threatening illnesses and its services, which include a day hospice, home care team, family therapy and a Snowdrop Group for young women with cancer are free.
