JOHN Bickerton landed his biggest pay day of the season by finishing joint seventh at the KLM Open.
Droitwich Spa-based Bickerton netted just over £27,500 for his five under par effort in Hilversumsche, near Amsterdam.
The 35-year-old saved his best for last, carding a five under final round of 65 to leave him six shots behind winner Gonzalo Fernandez-Castan.
Bickerton began his four-day quest with a first-round four over par 74 but clawed his way back into contention with a three under second 18 holes.
A one under par third round brought him to level par and set him up for his final round exploits, which included five birdies.
Hereford's David Park, meanwhile, tied for 25th place after finishing his campaign on level par.
He too carded a final round of five under to make up for two rounds of three over.
