A NEW Organic Festival promoting 'the true taste of food', selling organic goods from across the world, is to be held in Worcester.
Organic food and drink - from simple to exotic - will be available to sample, challenging festival visitors to rediscover their taste buds at Perdiswell Leisure Centre on Sunday, June 19.
Organiser Dean Wilson said the mission of the event was to get more people - both young and old - interested in organic food.
"We are also extremely keen to establish links with local and regional organic producers, co-operatives, box schemes and eco-led bodies and organisations who may be interested in having a presence at the festival," he said.
"Organic festivals are not merely structured to provide an enjoyable day out.
"They are intended to be educational and thought-provoking, offering an opportunity for the public at large to see how they can help reduce the strain on the environment by both buying and thinking organic."
Entrance to the event will cost £2.50, £2 (con), or free for accompanied under-16 children.
