WORCESTER City chairman Dave Boddy has been elected on to the board of directors for the Nationwide Conference.
Boddy will be one of seven representatives and he is flying the flag for clubs in Nationwide North.
"I felt last season that, after a good start for the league (Nationwide North), there were a number of things that needed to improve," Boddy said.
"There are a number of things that happen in the Conference but not at our level -- things like having the names on the back of shirts.
"Another area of concern was that in the FA Trophy last year we went in at a lower level than in the previous year. Issues like that have to be reviewed."
Meanwhile, City will field an 'A' side in Midland Combination Division Three after resigning from the Reserve Division following a difficult season of results.
They are to be based at the Bilford Road training ground, Perdiswell, in order to give the St George's Lane pitch some rest.
City will mostly make the side up from the under 17 youngsters in the first year of their academy programme.
