The court was told Daniel Burnett, 19, of Richmond Close, died almost instantly after the crash on the A435 in Studley in the early hours of October 6, 2004.
His passenger, Simon Blood, 33, of Hampton in Arden, died of multiple injuries at the Alexandra Hospital.
The court, at Leamington Spa Town Hall, heard the friends had been drinking lager in the Saracen's Head pub, Shirley, on October 5 until around 11.30pm.
Later, they were seen driving a stolen Seat Leon coupe at speed on the A435 through Studley towards Alcester
Warwickshire coroner Michael Coker said he could not record a verdict of accidental death and would not assert blame.
He returned the following narrative verdict: 'Both died as a result of serious injuries as a result of a road traffic accident.'
