LATEST figures show a reduction in the number of girls between 15 and 17 falling pregnant in Redditch.
Although new figures only reveal the situation up to 2003, they show an improvement since 1998.
Between 1998 and 2000 Redditch saw the second highest rate of 15-17-year-olds pregnant in the county, at 43.5 per 1,000.
That figure fell to 40.7 between 2001 and 2003 taking Redditch from second highest after Worcester to third, with Wyre Forest second.
