BELBROUGHTON maintained their fine run of form in the Worcester League Division Two - by taking the main share of the points in a hard fought match on Saturday.
Geoff Day (108), Dave Scriven (41) and Chris Williamson (45) had steered their side to a formidable score of 280.
However, Whitehouse (72) launched Wood's fight back as they reached 184.

BIG scoring Cutnall could not bowl out their opponents in the Worcester League Division Four on Saturday.
Green, who had been put into bat, had started strongly, as Fletcher (115) and Morgan forged a 62 run partnership.
Hutchins (81) added some late impetus to the batting.
Saleem, who took four wickets, was the only bowling to make an impact as Martley made 193.
Hanley Castle and Upton 166 all out Himbleton 167-3
Himbleton win by seven wickets
HIMBLETON were too strong for Hanley in Division Four on Saturday.
Paul Taylor took five wickets as Hanley were dismissed for 166.
Neil Murray (49) and Dean Oliver (41) then got amongst the runs as Himbleton recorded 167.
