As a mother of three children and the user of a pushchair, I frequently walk from Charford to Bromsgrove town centre.
I have been very annoyed on not just one occasion, but on several, when I have come across inconsiderate users of vehicles parking on the public footpaths, leaving no room for a single person to pass, let alone a pushchair.
The only way to get past has been to walk around the vehicle on the road in front of oncoming traffic.
This should not have to be the case - it is putting the general public at an unnecessary risk of being knocked down.
The pathways are narrow enough as it is.
I have to say the main culprits are delivery drivers of vans and lorries along the stretch of Worcester Road from The Turks Head, up to where the path eventually widens by Motorworld.
There has always been the odd time when a vehicle has been blocking the public footpath, but it has now become a regular occurrence when I have been going to town and I am afraid that someone is going to get injured or killed before long.
