I have to say I'm just a little confused and annoyed regarding council finances.
First we hear that Bromsgrove council cannot afford the annual grant of a mere £3,000 to Avoncroft Museum, then we see that £2m has been found to fund 'major staff restructuring' and almost half a million of council rent debt is to be written off.
It seems to me that there is something seriously rotten in the state of Bromsgrove. I am not at all happy with the way some of my council tax money is being spent and shall make my feelings known at the next local election.
I also note that Mr Moody wants his department to police those naughty people who have the nerve to stop on double yellow lines. Oh dear he really has got it in for Bromsgrove motorists hasn't he.
What with new car park machines that require your registration plate number and increased charges, it seems that the safest place to park is the council's own car park in Burcot Lane - and it's free.
