BROMSGROVE Rovers FC have been handed a tricky Worcestershire derby with Stourport Swifts in the first round of the Southern League Cup in September.
Rovers will be hoping history does not repeat itself when the two sides clash on September 19 at the Victoria Ground.
Rovers lost 2-1 to Swifts at home in the cup's first round last season.
Jimmy Mullen's side also lost 3-2 to Stourport in the Division One West last season.
The club is also set for more trips down south compared to the last campaign, after the inclusion of relegated Dunstable Town (Bedfordshire) and Hemel Hempstead Town.
Leighton Town FC (Bedfordshire) and Beaconsfield SYCOB (Slough) have also joined from the Division One East.
Mullen is worried the extra travelling might affect his attempts to bring players in.
He said: "When players join clubs they take things like travelling to away games into consideration.
"If they have to travel far it might affect their job, so it might affect who we bring in."
Welshpool striker Steve Rodgers is set to join Rovers' squad for training in July.
Mullen said: "Nothing is sealed, but it's a chance for both parties to have a look at each other."
