WHERE are the brains of people responsible for placing a dog fouling bin in the most prominent of positions?
This week, a dog fouling bin appeared on the decorative entrance to Manor Oaks, Nuffield Drive - Boycott Bridge.
The area is used by children to play, local residents to sit awhile, walkers and locals to sit and admire the scenery and quite often to have their lunch.
This most decorative of ornaments is, in my opinion, totally disrespectful to the residents, a damage to the health of people and I am sure will finish up in the stream.
Incidentally, we have never been party to any discussions regarding the placement of this bin. Someone will say it is a necessary evil, but placed on the bridge for the ease of emptying. Rubbish. Car parking here is dangerous. Dog walkers use this area, the majority returning at the underpass bridge, where the bin should be placed.
Whoever was responsible for placing the bin we would ask to have it removed.
