LAST Saturday's Open match at The Fishery again produced excellent sport with all the competitors catching at least 15 lbs.
The next Saturday Open is on June 25 when all are welcome for the draw at 9am. Book in on 01386 41273.

The new season starts on Sunday when the Simon de Montfort Cup is the prize at The Fishery when the draw takes place at pool side at 7am.
This is a members' only match and all are urged to make an extra effort to attend the opening contest.
Open matches on Tuesday evenings continue at The Fishery with the draw at 5.3pm and fishing for three hours.
All are welcome and excellent sport is anticipated.

MEMBERS of the youth section competed in the third round of the Townsend Lake Series on the Island Pool at Moorlands where Gavin Griffiths, Chris Scott and Jeff Baguley were the section winners.
The final two matches of the series will be fished on Saturday at Woodland View's Barley Pool, draw 8am and on June 25 at Bishampton's Jubilee Pool (9am).

The first of eight rounds of the 2005 Evesham Journal Cup Series takes place on Monday with the draw at 5.30pm and fishing between 6 and 9.15.

THERE were a dozen members on the Island Pool at Manor Farm Leisure for last Thursday's fourth round of the Summer Evening League.
Wayne Panting topped the weights from peg six with a net weighing exactly ten pounds more than closest rival Dirk Williams who landed 19.12.0 from peg 18.
Malcolm Sant from Wooffs Tackle was third with a haul of 16.15.0 from peg 32 with Bill Scarrott (15.15.0) in fourth from peg 2.
The same number of competitors turned out at Cranhill for Sunday's Wooffs Summer League opener when Howard Norledge took top spot.
Results: 1 H Norledge 9.5.0; 2 Clive Harman 8.0.0; 3 Jerry Akerman 3.14.0; 4 Clive Leeming 3.2.0.
Tonight's league match is again on the Manor Middle Pool, while Sunday's outing takes anglers to the Island Pool at the same Harvington venue.
This year's barbecue match takes place on Jim's Lake on Saturday, June 26 with food being served from 5.30pm.
Evesham and District Association
OPEN matches are to be staged every Wednesday evening on the Town Waters with a rolling draw from 5.30pm at the new bridge.
These matches are "float only" and excellent sport is anticipated.
