Alcester & Ragley are still searching for their first win in the Premier Division after crashing to a 132-run defeat at home to high-flying Overbury.
The visitors batted first and immediately set about the bowling, racing to 70 off only 10 overs until Stuart Prince had Sam Matty caught in the deep for a rapid 34.
Jim Gregory then took up the attack and although wickets continued to fall at the other end, he powered to 110 as the innings closed on 313-8.
Steve Capron and Mark Woolley bowled well and took two wickets apiece.
In reply, Alcester began positively but some hostile bowling claimed two early wickets to put Overbury in command.
The home side slumped to 42-4 and although there were some good late knocks from Ben Lee (38), Adam Shaw (34) and Stuart Prince (41), Alcester were eventually all out for 181.
The Ragley Park side will have Gary Strain back for this weekend's crucial match at fellow strugglers Twyning.
