A NEW chief inspector has been appointed in Bromsgrove.
Chief Inspector Charlie Hill, aged 38, has taken on the role after being a serving police officer for 17 years.
"My vision is to make Bromsgrove district a place where top quality citizen-focused policing services are delivered to all in the community in partnership with other agencies to make it an even better place in which to live and work," he said.
Chief Inspector Hill has worked in West Mercia for almost 11 years after coming from the Metropolitan Police. The dad-of-two joined north Worcestershire division after ten years in Shropshire.
